Some early arrivals...  before the nice
tidy children's library is hit by the Halloween hordes!

A vampire and a bat arriving for our older children's stories and crafts

It was  spookily superstitious and somehow perfect that we had thirteen lovely children take part in the storytimes this year!

A pile of stories and poems were enjoyed (at 11.45 after crafts, all five of our older children wanted "just one more!"), biscuits and juice were appreciated, and a great collection pumpkins and spiders were created by our clever bunch!

Thanks to all for coming along, and in such great costumes too!  What a motley crew we made with witches, cats, pumpkins, a vampire, a ladybird, spiderman, and a gruffalo!

And then there were our resident witches to help things along!

Our costumed volunteers!
