Celebrate and support your local volunteer-run library on National Libraries Day.  Find out about the range of services on
offer and the difference a public library makes to Low Fell.

The Dickens Fellowship at our staged reading of A Christmas Carol, 2015

Our regular groups, the Dickens Fellowship and our monthly Book Club, gladly welcome new members!  Just turn up or get in touch with the library for more information.

We also hold very popular Rhymetime sessions for the children on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Our children's library has an excellent range of fiction and non-fiction, and Young Adult novels. We also have colouring and drawing resources available, and look out for half-term activities too! Children over 8 can sign-up to use our PCs.

Our PCs are connected to the internet and are installed with office applications. Look out for wi-fi coming soon!   Other electronic resources include our B&W and colour printer, photocopier and scanner.

Our books available for loan include novels, non-fiction and reference.
Daily newspapers are available to read in the library.

We hold regular events and fairs.  These are very popular community events which help us to raise funds in order to keep the library open.
