| WW1 CENTENARY Exhibitions in the Library this month:
- Remembering John Brown-King
A talk by local historian, Mike Scott, will provide more details about Private Brown-King, reputedly the man to fire the first shot of the Great War, when his ship, the cruiser Amphion, attacked the German mine-layer, the Konogin Luise. The talk is FREE and takes place at 2pm on Wednesday, 24th October
