Library Services

We receive new books from Gateshead Central Library's stock on a weekly basis so there should always be something new when you come in! We create and display monthly lists of the new stock and include a summary of these in our newsletter.

From time to time the association has received small grants which we have used to purchase some special titles which are only available instore, most recently we have refreshed our choice of children's titles. These books cannot be reserved through our systems however please come in to browse. These title are shelved along with our main catalogue stock but are marked LFLA Only on the spines.

From time to time we post reviews of books which our members and volunteers have read. If you have read (or listened to!) a book from the library and would like to share your thoughts please let us know via the web form or get in touch...
